Would you agree that the simplest things are the tastiest? Our memories bring back summertime treat, when we used to crush strawberries with a fork or spoon, then served in a little bowl with sugar and sometimes cream, taste of childhood memories. Today's recipe marks for us the end of 2012 strawberry season. We used the buttermilk, which has only 45 calories per 100 grams, so we replaced heavy cream with it. On top of that buttermilk contains probiotics, the bacteria that care about our health,  and lactic acid, which regulates digestion. Oh and recently we bought these cute little 1/3 pint milk bottles with retro paper straws, cocktail in these tasted great! Long live the summer!

for 2 cups:

  • 300g strawberries
  • 300ml buttermilk
  • tbs honey
